Bailey Watson, a senior at Natrona High School in Casper, Wyoming, has signed to become a Lancer on the first Eastern Wyoming College Girls Golf Team.

"I am super excited to be a part of this inaugural team," Bailey said. "I instantly knew when Coach Zach (Smith) reached out to me this was an opportunity I wanted to pursue, when I visited campus, I knew EWC was the perfect fit for me."

The Lancers will be the fourth women's golf team in the region and will compete in around 12 tournaments a year.

"Bailey has competed in several sports while in high school, which will only help her as she continues to develop her game," Lancer Golf Coach Zach Smith said. "I'm excited to get her to EWC so we can get started with her new teammates this coming August. She knows how to play in the wind coming from Casper, so that's always a bonus when you compete in the Midwest."

The Lancers are looking to field a team of six to eight women for the fall 2024 season. Scholarships are available.
