Men's hoops splits home weekend

The Eastern Wyoming College men's basketball team split a pair of home games against two Nebraska teams over the weekend.

The Lancers beat North Platte Community College 71-62 on Friday and lost a 76-73 to McCook on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer in the first overtime period.

EWC travels to Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to take on the Western Nebraska Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
