For the second time in four games, a valiant effort by the Eastern Wyoming College men's basketball team comes up short in overtime.

The Lancers lost 69-65 to Central Wyoming Saturday afternoon in Torrington. Eastern (10-9 overall, 0-4 Region IX-North) remained winless in sub-region play, though three of the four losses were by six or less points, including two overtime games.

Sophomore forward Sam Tiley led the Lancers with 20 points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal. 

Alexander Karras scored 15 points off the bench and Carter Berrish scored 11 point on 4-for-6 shooting, including three 3-pointers.

The Lancers' next game is Wednesday evening at No. 24 Casper College.
