The Eastern Wyoming College men's basketball clinched a winning February with an 83-71 win at Laramie County Wednesday night.

The Lancers swept the season series against the Golden Eagles and improved to 5-2 in February after losing seven straight to close out January.

EWC is now 15-14 overall and 4-9 in Region IX-North heading into its final regular season game -- a Saturday afternoon tilt at Gillette College.

Sophomore Jonatan Arvidsson led the Lancers with 18 points, followed by 17 from sophomore Jordan Potts and 15 from sophomore Sam Tiley. 

Tiley's seven boards led EWC while sophomore David Höök had a team-high four assists.

The Lancers led 47-31 at the half.
