Lancer golf team finishes season with another win

The Eastern Wyoming College men's golf team recently returned from a tournament in Riverton, WY, hosted by Central Wyoming College. The Lancers won the tournament with a two-day total of 622, twenty strokes ahead of second place McCook Community College who had a two-day total of 642. This marks the sixth tournament title in a row for the Lancers as their fall season is now concluded.

"Logan worked hard all season for his win and we were both happy to see him get it at the final tournament of our fall season," shared Coach Zach Smith. "I am really proud of how the guys played this fall. They have really set themselves in a great position for the spring season."

Leading the Lancers was sophomore Logan Harrison, Cheyenne, WY. Harrison won the tournament with a two-day total of 148. Individual scores for the team were as follows:
Adrian Torres, freshman, Madrid, Spain – 156, tied for 3rd
Ryder Velasquez, freshman, South Ogden, UT – 156, tied for 3rd
Jadyn Wayment, freshman, Ogden, UT – 162
Eric Lovell, freshman, Greeley, CO – 168

The spring season will begin in March 2016 for the Lancer golf team.
