The Eastern Wyoming College Lancer golf team won the Central Wyoming College tournament with a score of 574, 46 strokes ahead of second place finisher, McCook Community College.

"The guys finished the regular season strong with another under par tournament on a very good golf course," said Coach Zach Smith. "Brendan and Tomas have been playing very well lately, it was fun to watch them play together on the final day to see who could get the win. Brendan snuck away with the win, continuing his solid play this spring. It felt good to win the Region IX title after a lot of hard work throughout the year. I'm lucky to be around these guys."

The Lancers also made their mark on the District results with Thomas winning the district. Kubata was 3^rd, Sprecher 5^th, Van Stiphout 6^th and Walsh 10^th.
