EWC rodeo results from Lamar

EWC Lancer Rodeo Team @ Lamar Community College Rodeo - Lamar, Colorado

The Eastern Wyoming College Lancer Rodeo team returned from a successful weekend in Lamar, CO and will be concluding the fall season October 12-14 at the annual rodeo hosted by Laramie County Community College.

EWC freshman Chadron Coffield, Yuma, CO continues to dominate in the tie down roping. Chadron won the first round with a time of 9.0 seconds. He sits atop of the Central Rocky Mountain Regional standings for tie down roping with 475 total points.

The women's team also continues to dominate in the goat tying with sophomores Karissa Rayhill and Jacey Thompson finishing in 3rd and 4th place in the average, respectively. In the regional standings, Rayhill is 2nd and Thompson is 5th. Thompson is also sitting in 7th place in the regional breakaway standings.

In the team roping, Braden Pirrung, sophomore, Hartford, SD and partner Jace Engesser, Gillette College were 4th in the first round. Thompson and partner Colin Dibbern, Chadron State College also qualified for the short round.

The Lancers conclude the fall season in Cheyenne, WY this weekend.
