The Eastern Wyoming College Lancer Rodeo team began the fall season with a rodeo in Chadron hosted by Chadron State College.

Sophomore Ty Bass won 5^th in the team roping with partner Ellie Bard from Gillette College. The team placed 5^th in the first round with a time of 7.8 seconds, 5^th in the short round with a time of 14.0 and finished 5^th in the average.

In the bull riding, sophomore Brett McAbee qualified for the short round with a first round score of 65.

The Lancers will compete in Cheyenne, WY, September 18-20. The annual rodeo hosted by Laramie County Community College will be held at Frontier Park.
