The No. 22-ranked Casper College Thunderbirds prove too much for the Eastern Wyoming College women's basketball team on their home court Wednesday evening.

The Lancers lost 75-56 despite a career-high 31 points from guard Ana Esnal Aguirre. The freshman was 13-for-20 from the field, including 2-of-3 on 3-pointers and 3-of-4 from the free throw line.

Sophomore Paula Marknez Sanz added 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds in the loss.

Eastern Wyoming (9-10 overall, 2-3 Region IX-North) remains on the road this weekend for a 2 p.m. game against Western Wyoming.
