The Eastern Wyoming College women's basketball team completed a season sweep of Laramie County with a 63-61 win in Cheyenne Wednesday night.

A questionable travel call gave the Golden Eagles a chance to tie or win the game with their final possession, but Lancer freshman Montse Gutierrez Ibanez stole an inbounds pass with eight seconds left to ice the win for EWC.

Sophomore Paula Martinez Sanz and freshman Ane Esnal Aguirre tied for a Lancer-high 18 points each. Sanz led the team with six rebounds and Aguirre led with eight assists, while both tallied four steals.

The Lancers (16-12 overall, 9-4 Region IX-North) won the first meeting against LCCC in Torrington 67-56 on Feb. 5.
