The Eastern Wyoming College women's basketball team lost its final regular-season game of the season in Gillette on Saturday.

The Lancers fell 96-71 to the 21st-ranked Pronghorns, who finish conference play as the second seed in Region IX-North, one spot ahead of EWC. Sheridan's loss to first-place Casper on Saturday cemented Eastern as the North's third seed.

Eastern will host a first-round playoff game at 6:30 p.m. on Friday against the North's sixth seed, Central Wyoming.
