EWC rodeo team members Wadhams and Schnaufer win team roping at Casper rodeo

Eastern Wyoming College rodeo team members Bryer Wadhams, freshman,  and his partner, Trevor Schnaufer, sophomore, returned from the Casper College hosted rodeo with a first place finish in the team roping.  The pair is from Pueblo, CO.

This win moved the pair up to 2nd in the Central Rocky Mountain regional standings as they work for a College National Finals Rodeo qualification.

Teammates Logan Milligan, sophomore, Torrington, WY and partner Coley Nicholls, sophomore, Riverton, WY, were second in the average at the rodeo and won the first round with a time of 7.6 seconds.  They are sitting 3rd in the regional standings.

Sophomore Cody Lane, Torrington, WY, was 4th in the tie-down roping average with a total time of 23.4 seconds on two calves.

In the steer wrestling, freshman Wyatt Schuelke, Faith, SD, split 5th in the first round with a time of 5.5 seconds.

The Lancer Rodeo team will compete in the final rodeo of the season which is hosted by the University of Wyoming in Laramie on April 27-29.
