Eastern Wyoming College’s Taiki Sugawara, freshman, from Aizuwakamatsu, Japan won the Lamar Community College golf tournament with a +1. Sugawara, and his fellow Lancers were the top team with a +26 at the tournament held Oct. 5-6 in Lamar, Colorado.
The Eastern Wyoming College golf team won top honors at the Otero College Tournament, held Sept. 28-29 in La Junta, Colorado. The Lancers had six golfers finishing in the top 15.
Eastern Wyoming College’s Ryler Dunkley, American Fork, UT, tied for the win at the Bronco Invite, held Sept. 25-26 at Lochland Country Club in Hastings, Nebraska. Dunkley finished in a tie with Southeast Community College’s Luke Strako with a score of -3.
The Eastern Wyoming College golf team won their home tournament, held Sept. 14-15 at Cottonwood golf course in Torrington, WY. The Lancers had six golfers finishing in the top 10.
